The ingrained nature of ENF is to notice and engage the various patterns with their extraverted intuition. New information is gathered by looking for new and interesting patterns in daily experiences. Looking for and forming new patterns is one of the most interesting activities for ENF as well as the most preferred way of interacting with the world.
Also, the ENF maintains an internal model of ethics and expectations and uses it gauge the world using introverted feeling. This being their associative nature, they are inclined to engage favourably with people and experiences that increase their internal sense of well being and might not value things that are imposing. Combined with their ingrained Ne, they can adapt themselves to various people and groups as well as be humorous and entertaining, hence they are very sociable.
ENF’s exploratory is made up of Te. This makes them seek out external activity and may grow restless if they don’t find suitable activity. This is however, not an issue for ENFs as their ingrained extraverted intuition is always throwing up new possibilities. However, since this is their exploratory, they may not treat all activities similarly, and will probably pick and choose what is more rewarding.
Regulatory of ENF is made up of Si, which is used to fine tune the other functions in a way that is in tune with their previous experiences. An ENF who is more responsible tends to use this function to take care of important things in their lives, where as one who is generally reckless might use this function to avoid getting pulled into responsibility. With the combination of exploratory Te, ENFs can easily switch from one activity to another if the need arises, without even realizing it. This gives them a carefree demeanor and enthusiastic nature, which they use to mingle with people and have fun.
