Ingrained: Extraverted Thinking (Te) Introverted Thinking (Ti)
Associative: Introverted Sensing (Si) Extraverted Sensing (Se)
Exploratory: Extraverted Intuition (Ne) Introverted Intuition (Ni)
Regulatory: Introverted Feeling (Fi) Extraverted Feeling (Fe)

The ingrained nature of ETS is extraverted thinking, which means they are constantly scanning their external environment to see if anything needs to be done in order to keep things running smoothly. If anything needs their attention, they can quickly spring into action and attend to things in a efficient and functional manner.

The associative function of ETS is introverted sensing, which means ETS have strong memory of details that matter. Combined with ingrained Te, they generally remember all the important details of things that they have learnt and efficient ways of solving problems. They strongly value rule based systems as they can understand them easily and provide well defined mechanisms of action, reward and failure. As a consequence, they are really good at maintenance tasks like bills, taxes etc. They like to keep things organized.

Extraverted intuition forms the exploratory of ETS, so they get excited by new possibilities, like meeting new people, visiting new places, trying out new food etc. They are also likely to keep their guard on while doing so, as the exploratory Ne is likely to be reminded of the past times when things went sour while looking for novelty. They also like tools and gadgets as they provide new possibilities for understanding and activity.

Regulatory of ETS is introverted feeling, so they value internal ethics and may expect the same from everyone. They generally find it very difficult to cheat – they can but more often than not, they chose not to due to their regulatory Fi. When under stress, they can feel isolated as the regulatory Fi builds walls around them, and they can blame others for the situation they find themselves in. They generally don’t try to seek help or actively try to solve the issue under these circumstances, like they normally do with other external things. On the other hand, under normal circumstances, they generally put in extraordinary effort into what they consider as their responsibilities.
